28 Blessings was founded by Diana Sepulona after recognizing the everyday challenges many families in Memphis–Shelby County face, including food insecurity, economic hardship, and limited access to safe, enriching opportunities for youth outside of school hours. Seeing these gaps firsthand inspired her to create something that could make a real and lasting difference in the community.

 

28 Blessings was built on the belief that when youth are supported, families become stronger and communities become safer. Through school partnerships, culturally grounded programming, and prevention-focused support, the organization works to provide stability, opportunity, and resources where they are needed most.

 

By building thoughtful partnerships and growing responsibly, 28 Blessings aims to create a model that not only supports youth and families today, but can be replicated to strengthen communities for years to come.
